2008 FPWR Conference: CAMP FPWR Information

2008 Foundation for Prader-Willi Research Annual Conference
Lead the Way...Change Their Future!
Sunday, September 7 - Tuesday, September 9
Crystal Gateway Marriott, Arlington, VA

Your children will be well taken care of and entertained while you are in conference sessions. From arts & crafts to video games children of all ages will have a blast! KiddieCorp has been providing childcare for conferences for over 20 years and their level of professionalism and quality is unrivaled.

Please note that the staff to child ratios are high to ensure that every child feels special (1:3 for children ages 2 through 3 years old; 1:5 for children ages 4 through 12 years old; 1:8 for children ages 13 through 16 years old).

IMPORTANT: If your child will require additional care beyond the program's staff to child ratios, alternative care should be sought

Below is a list of fun activities your child will be participating in!

Sunday, September 7th
 2:00 PM—5:30 PM Hand-in-Hand Painting Party
Your children will have the opportunity to participate in an arts and crafts
project that will later be given to selected individuals who have gone above and
beyond in their efforts to support the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research.
These individuals have made a difference in your children's’ lives and the lives
of all children with PWS.

6:30 PM—9:00 PM Movie and Pajama Party
Kids put on your PJ’s and join us for pizza and movies. While you enjoy a
cocktail reception and dinner with Special Guest Speaker Joel Wood, your
children will unwind and have a fun night of movies and games.

 Monday, September 8th
9:00 AM—12:00 PM Splash Bash Party
Beach balls, games and crafts—let’s spend the day preparing for the pool.
We’ll make sun visors and other crafts  to take with us to Belle Haven Country
Club as well, as take off our shoes and boogie to surf music.

7:00 PM—8:30 PM Bedtime Stories and Songs
While parents share stories and tips in a round table discussion, kids will be
sharing stories and songs as they relax after a day at the pool.
